The pre-k program provide opportunities to explore and grow in literacy (handwriting), art, science and math. Our curriculum is planned to insure students receive a balance of these subjects, along with a focus on socialization skills using the method of non-violent communication. 

The morning pre-k program is often combined with the afternoon ladybug program.

The Ladybug program offers a chance to explore risk and adventure in our community. Each week has a field trip, followed by an 'at school' day, where they learn to pull from what they experienced, journal about it, and share it with their peers.

This program is a huge confidence builder in our children. Their self-esteem and knowledge of self grows as they explore their environment and interact with their community. 

Pre-k and Ladybug vacation policy

Our Pre-K/Ladybug program runs a closed roster vacation policy and is excluded from the vacation policy to insure the continuity of the class. Please still let us know if your child will not be in attendance.

Scheduled School Closures
The school is closed two and a half weeks every year. Once in the winter, once in the Spring, and once in the late Summer. These closures are tuition free weeks for both the preschool and the pre-k / kindergarten.
