We realize that your child is a part of a unique family, not just another student to run through a predetermined set of lessons. Our program is providing a unique blend of responsive and emerging curriculum, scheduling flexibility, and a focus on including the whole family in our school. As a preschool, we understand that for our students, play is the essence of learning. Everything that they are working to understand can be discovered with play as the vehicle for learning.
custom scheduling
Our school is open from 7:45 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. with morning and afternoon programs, as well as a few all-day spots. We require a two-day minimum each week, with a minimum of three hours per day. We do our absolute best to give you the schedule that meets your child's needs, works for your family, and balances age and gender within the school.
organic food
Our schools lunch and snacks are vegetarian and made with a majority of organically grown ingredients. We believe that our children deserve a diet that will promote good health. We also recognize that kids have special dietary needs and we happily accommodate all allergies with nutritious food.
Preschool vacation policy
The preschool program runs an open roster vacation policy, which allows for ten days of vacation per year without having to pay tuition with a maximum of two days taken in the same month. It is necessary for you to notify us via email littledarlingschool@comcast.net two weeks in advance in order for your tuition to be waved.
Scheduled School Closures
The school is closed two and a half weeks every year. Once in the winter, once in the Spring, and once in the late Summer. These closures are tuition free weeks for both the preschool and the pre-k / kindergarten.
